Simon joined Hunter Ralfe in June 2002 after working for five years as a litigation solicitor in Rotorua. Having completed his LLB in 1991 he travelled and worked extensively overseas including two years as an aid worker in Cambodia. On his return to New Zealand in 1994 he established both the Hamilton and Rotorua Community Law Centres before moving into private practice.
